golden gate park

I got a chance to do some painting this morning with a couple of friends at Golden Gate Park. Despite the rain and cold temperture, it was fun to get out there with a couple of cool people and see some new sites in the park. The cold weather was a challenge to work in. I ended up putting some finishing touches on the painting at home afterwards, beacause there was edge problems with the bridge. That bridge was a pain to paint, but I'd definitely like to go back and try it again. I was really interested in the wear, decay, and growth on the bridge. Those subtle traits are what I love in painting.
