sketchcrawl 25 + plein air sunday

Sketchcrawl 25 happened this past Saturday. Though it got freakin cold toward the end, it was a good time. It was great to see all the results from the end of the day. Also, I got a chance to paint with the North Bay Plein Air painters group. The paint sketch was a challenge because there would be pockets of beautiful light on the hills one minute, then there would be this dull, cold feel on the hill. Ah, the complexities of outdoor painting!

It was great to meet you, Jackson, at the Plein Air Sunday. You really nailed the feeling on that hill! Hope to see you at more paintouts.

Stephan- Thanks dude! Your work is going to another level. It's great to see your progression.

Hatem- It's all about the brush pen. I've been trying to use it as much as I can. By the way, you have some beautiful stuff on your blog.

Janice- It was a pleasure to meet you as well! I really like your pastels. You definitely have a voice with them. Hopefully, I see you at the next plein air meet up.

Cam- Likewise! It's always a pleasure to paint with you. Your recent sketchbook stuff is taking a life of its own. I like!

That's an awesome painting, Jackson. I've never been able to make it to any sketchcrawls, but it looks like I'll have to one of these days.
